New cleaning sponge with bristlestrips

Tailored 3D-Toothbrush

The tailored 3D-Toothbrush has been developed from 2012-2018. We analyzed thousands of teeth and dentures and tailored toothbrushes for them in this time. In April 2018 we introduced the new 3D-Toothbrush 2.0 with the revolutionary bristlestrip technology, which is much smaller and even much more efficient than the Version 1.0. In October 2018 we introduced the Version 3.0, which perfects the bristlestrip-technology and further reduces brush-sizes - it is super-easy to use for everyone, and delivers incredible cleaning efficiency.

Read more here about how it generally works:

All Blizzident-bristles are specifically tailored to your own teeth and gumlines, because this is the only way to guarantee perfect cleaning without damaging your precious tooth-surfaces and gums.

For tailoring we use a 3D model of your teeth (created from an impression or scan of your teeth by your dentist).

Tailoring is the only way to perfectly brush your teeth, because tooth- and denture-geometries are extremely different between people.

Perfect toothcleaning made simple

The bristles are tailored and positioned on every single tooth in a way so they are brushing with the "Modified Bass"- and "Fones"-techniques simply by biting and grinding for a few seconds. "Modified Bass"- and "Fones"-techniques are recommended by dentists and prophylaxis assistants worldwide.

By biting you brush according to the  "Modified Bass"-technique. This cleans the gingival sulcus (the space underneath the gumline) especially well, while also cleaning all other surfaces perfectly. You simply bite and release for a few times. This creates the little vibrating / jiggling upwards/downwards / slightly circling movements of the "Bass"-technique (while the bristles are placed in a 45 degree angle, which also automatically stops the biting movement softly). This cleaning-action along the gumline is also called "Sub-Gingival Bass Technique", and is recommended by dental hygiene experts worldwide (but is really difficult to apply by hand).

By grinding (left-right and backward-forwards), while your teeth are closed, you brush according to the "Fones"-technique. This additionally cleans the top surfaces of your molars.

On the simulation-pictures you see how nicely the brushes clean exactly along the gumline. They clean exactly where they must (shown in white color), and nowhere else (not on other gum surfaces - here still in green color).

Opening your mouth causes the gumline-bristles to additionally wipe dirt out (according to the "wipeout"-movement of the "Modified Bass"-technique).

We have processed thousands of dentures already, and the variety in their size and tooth-orientations is incredibly big - meaning healthy and perfect cleaning can only be achieved with individually tailored 3D-toothbrushes.

All teeth perfectly cleaned in a few seconds

Because you are brushing all your teeth at the same time, you are brushing extremely quickly. You brush all the difficult-to-reach and interdental regions without even having to think about it.

After 6 seconds brushing time all your teeth are already perfectly clean. The white teeth on the picture to the right have been whitened by simulating brushing for 6 seconds only. 6 Blizzident-seconds equal approximately 3 minutes brushing time with a manual toothbrush. (10 Blizzident-seconds equal 6 minutes manual brushing).

Toothbrushing user errors eliminated

Traditional manual and electric toothbrushes clean only as well as your brushing technique and discipline is. And even with a good technique, there are always regions you cannot reach, because of the geometry of your manual/electric toothbrush and bristles.

Blizzident eliminates all those user errors completely. Just by biting a couple of times, you clean everywhere, and with perfect technique.

Blizzident bristle pressure is always the same, and within the correct limits. Whereas, when you brush by hand, often too much pressure is applied, and gums and teeth are harmed. And if not enough pressure is applied, the cleaning effect is reduced.

More info about bristle placement here.

The 3D-Toothbrush lasts up to a year

We recommend replacing it with a new Blizzident toothbrush every 6 - 12 months (after we tailored a Blizzident to your teeth, replacement Blizzidents cost only a fraction of the price of a new one, and they can be sent to you automatically).

Clean tongue while brushing your teeth

Tongue cleaning is much more important than many people think. It prevents bad breath and dental caries (tongue bacteria enforce dental caries). Therefore just above the position of the tongue a tongue scraper is located. Thus, while brushing your teeth, your tongue is cleaned almost automatically at the same time, if you want. Because the scraper is located well above the  tongue position, you can always decide by yourself, whether you want to lift/press your tongue against the scraper or not.
